A Scottish draughtsman and wood engraver, who engraved subjects for Dickens' Christmas Books in 1845, contributed illustrations to Pen and Pencil Pictures from the Poets in 1866, also published by W.P. Nimmo, and designed a pictorial bookplate in 1880.
