Thomas  Bolton Septimus  Dalziel    (1823 —  1906)

Dalziel was one of the "eminent artists" who had contributed to the Dalziel's Arabian Nights, originally published in parts in 1863-64. He had joined his brothers in the London engraving business in 1860. The drawings he did for the Routledge edition were all new. Many are small and though often charming lack, for the most part, the energy and excitement found in the earlier great edition. More information here.
